Captain Biggles and the Adventures of the Spiritually Devoid

Should monkeys be kept as pets?
Are dolphins happier in the wild?
Should Bush Jr and Ratzinger be friends?

The answers to these questions may be summed by a single word:- no.
That being said, the answers may be wrong.

Dolphins, clearly, are intelligent creatures that can make the most of their circumstances.
Monkeys don't really understand the pros and cons of 'petdom' anyway.
Georgie-boy and Pope-man are a cartoonists dream. Imagine being paid to depict these two stunning figures in pen and ink. The mind boggles. The tyrant and the inquisitor:- a match made in heaven (no pun intended). Together they could rid the world of all free-thinking people. How fantastic would that be? An entire planet populated by yes-men and yes-women. Even god didn't have that luxury. Free will, what a cock up.

"You have free will and absolute reign over your dominion, just don't eat the fruit of that pretty tree in the centre of the garden!"

Or, (a father to his 4 year-old) "Don't touch that, it will hurt you!"

Any self-respecting four year-old would take and eat that apple on principle.

If any illustrator out there would be interested in working on a comic about Georgie-boy (working title) and Pope-man (working title), let me know. Oh, the adventures they could have.

The Tyrant and the Inquisitor. The Fanatic and the Uber-fanatic.

Ratzinger and the Bush. A great episode I thing would be..."Ratzinger and the Burning Bush".

I can see it now. Exorcisms, torture, plagues, famine, the four horsemen, the seven seals, armageddon like it's never been done before. Gone are the days of political satire. Let's usher in the new era of factual representation. It's just as funny but scary at the same time. There's two huge markets right there. Laugh as George stumbles over the simplest of sentences. Giggle as Ratzinger recalls his exploits in the Hitler Youth. Scream as together they oppress millions of people with a few strokes of a pen (George, however, has a ghostwriter as spelling is as baffling to him as quantum mechanics is to a two year old race horse).

Anyway, that's all from me, and enough from him...
Goodnight.
